Local and Interstate Moving Options Not every household has easy access at origin and destination. Our surveyor will assess the nature of your move and decide on suited loading options. This could be additional staff, shuttle vehicles or cranes to move those more difficult accesses.

Transport options

We will be able to offer different methods of transport dependant on your specific moving needs.

Rail
We utilise the services of the National Rail System within Australia. They provide fast and efficient service to most destinations in Australia. Most households can be accommodated by the 20 and 40 foot steel containers available.
Road
Some destinations do not have rail transport therefore we arrange road transport. Much the same as shipping, we have a shared container option and sole use container.

Uplift and delivery date options

Your consultant will discuss what are the most appropriated dates for your move. Should you require holding in storage or require quicker delivery times then other move options can be made available.

Insurance options

Although Australian Vanlines will ensure the best moving practices have been utilised for your relocation we cannot avoid the risky nature of relocating your worldly possessions.

On top of our movers carriers liability, we are accredited to offer insurance for additional protection.
